Animated avatars

Are animated avatars allowed or am I doing something wrong? Trying to upload a small avatar, the one from QL and it isn't working for some reason.

Unfortunately we are using a flash based program to customize your avatar therefore you cannot use animated avatar, We did this to facilitate that you can capture your avatar with a webcam from the here itself.

Jim are flash signatures out then also? I haven't tried it yet.

Abu animated signatures are allowed as you can see from mine.
