Art of Jewellary Exhibition
The just-concluded seventh edition of the annual Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition while offering more than 60,000 visitors a close glimpse of fine jewellery, also gave them an opportunity to learn about the making of their favourite ornaments.
According to global leader Bvlgari, during the creation of unique jewellery, the cut, carat and colour of the gems are the starting point of the creative process, to get a piece of high quality.
This phase is the most time-consuming and complex, as it requires the development of numerous variants and careful evaluation of the jewel’s proportion, volume and its overall chromatic balance.
Each of these variants requires, in turn, numerous preparatory studies and drawings.
