Free Internet until March on Nokia devices

Qtel and Nokia have joined Consolidated Gulf Co (CGC) to announce an offer which allows customers in Qatar to use the Internet for free on their Nokia devices for a limited period.
Qtel customers who purchase or already own one of the featured Nokia devices will from today get 1GB of downloads free. This is valid until March 31,  2010.
All existing and new Shahry customers with featured phones benefit from this promotion, as well as Hala customers who convert to a Shahry connection, he added.
Director of indirect sales channels for Qtel, Mohammed Saleh al-Marri said: “We are happy to join hands with CGC to offer this bundle bonanza to our valued customers in Qatar. Presenting the highest quality of Internet access provides a complete spectrum of possibilities for our customers, which is why Qtel offers the highest levels of choice and value for mobile Internet access.”
Qtel is offering a range of mobile internet packs, providing 50MB, 250MB 1GB and 3GB plans, as well as unlimited and pay-as-you-go options.
Sales channel manager for Nokia lower Gulf, Hayssam Yassin claimed: “With this promotion, we are able to combine great mobile services with internet accessibility to provide consumers with a seamless user experience.”
COO of CGC, Anil Mahajan said: “This festive season gives us the opportunity to offer our customers something special to celebrate with family and friends. I hope customers who use Mobile Internet as part of their daily lives will celebrate the season with this special internet gift.”
Shahry customers can get their devices activated by calling CGC careline on 4910666 or visiting any CGC Nokia outlet until January 15.
