Quran verses start appearing 'spontaneously' on baby's skin

A baby is sparking a wave of speculation in Russia after phrases from the Koran allegedly began appearing on his skin.

Sayings from the Muslim holy book are said to appear on nine-month-old Ali Yakubov's back, arms, legs and stomach - before apparently fading away and being replaced with new sayings.

Russian medics claimed they are puzzled over the cause of the marks on a baby's skin, which started when the word Allah apparently appeared on his chin within weeks of his birth.

Medics deny that the marks are from someone writing on the child's skin.

His mother, Madina, said that she and her husband were not religious until the writings started appearing on his skin.

Initially they did not show anyone the unexplained writings, she said, until revealing them to their doctor and the imam in their village of Red October which is in a strongly Muslim region.

Now the boy has become a focus of Muslim homage in his troubled home province of Dagestan, close to war-ravaged Chechnya in the south of Russia.

Local MP Akhmedpasha Amiralaev said: 'This boy is a pure sign of God. Allah sent him to Dagestan in order to stop revolts and tension in our republic.'

The boy's mother claimed: 'Normally those signs appear twice a week - on Mondays and on the nights between Thursdays and Fridays.

'Ali always feels bad when it is happening. He cries and his temperature goes up. It's impossible to hold him when it's happening, his body is actively moving, so we put him into his cradle. It's so hard to watch him suffering.'

The phrases regularly replace each other on the baby's skin, she said.

Local imam Abdulla has told locals that the Koran forecasts that before the end of the world, there may be people with its sayings on their bodies.

He said that one sign read: 'Don't hide these signs from the people.'

The story has attracted considerable attention from the Russian media and online.

SubhanAllah,  as mentioned in the article - that it was mentioned in the Qur'an about such a thing to happen... so how much of this is true? does anyone know if it actually was mentioned?

if it was, then yet another sign that the End is nigh.

May The Almighty One save us from HIS wrath... aaameen.

I just don't know, it may be true , it may not be true!
salam,

subhanallah..

i remember the times of Rasulullah when he showed miracle things like splitting the moon. abu jahal and da gang still didnt believe it and made up stories and acused that our prophet Muhammad as the sa7eer..

As we are approaching to the end of world, more and more signs will come from Allah but more and more people will come out with their own mindsets to reject the signs . The least thing we could say is Allah Ya3lam.. but dont ever straightly accusing people for doing hoax while you yourself dont have any proves yet..

Hi Moony, welcome to QS.
When the world pushes you to your knees, your are in the perfect position to pray.

look moony, welcome to QS first...... as for the signs( the major and minor onces) of the last day , they have been mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah , insha allah I can get you the list of it , if you like AND stuff like that ( like the little boy with quranic verses) was not ONE of the signs of the hour.

So I remain skeptic!

The miracles of the prophets I do not reject them , as they are part of the revelation of Allah, rejecting those would be kufar

As for the article , mentioning that it is in the Quran , I have not come across that verse, also the verse was NOT mentioned in the news article( so what is the verse?!)
All we know of the Quran and Sunnah is that at the time of the Adajjal the disbelievers will have Kufar written on their foreheads .

So I like to see that verse and like to know the tafsir of it.
and also moony if you read my first post I did say wa allahu alim and Allah knows best,
Okey doky

All I'm saying is , don't just believe every thing what the news is say, without proof, that is why it could be true and it may  not be true.

In this day and age , we can do so much with the computer it's crazy.
And people like to be the center of attention.

It is absolutely Haram to believe in any sort of Oman , what is the meaning of this then ?!

Yes it maybe genuine or not, but I think its better we look things in the positive side.
When the world pushes you to your knees, your are in the perfect position to pray.

yes, Jimcale, I do not like to be a fool and just believe , what ever comes along.

being positive is a good attitude masha allah and we should be .

Still it is my choice to remain skeptic.

If they had giving the verse and explained it ( in the correct meaning) OK , we can say it is possible ....

I could be wrong , BUT present your proof if you speak the truth, just like Allah said :

Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful."
a video will be savvy.

also in Islam we know the science of Hadith.
how does a hadith become sahih?
true its chain of narrators , if the narrator is trustworthy and well known for it, the hadith will be taken as   sahih ,right?!
if the narrator, has weakness, like maybe known for a sin, or weak memory or other such things , his narration will not be taken.

Also the name of the narrator is established, son of so and so , daughter of so and so, form so and so , to make clear his/hers  identity!
Not just any person of the street.

So now ,take that into consideration    about this article , no names given , who are those people , we don't know anything about them at all, are they know to be truthful , can somebody verify that?!?
Nothing of that sort was given ,not even the quanic verse they where talking about. nothing.

So now , why on earth should I believe that. I have to see it with my own eyes !
okay guyz i have just found this video that might add some sense to this post, do notice that in the beginning of the video there is a citation of a verse from the Qur'an that explains why these verses appear on that particular russian boy's body. here is the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU7jMCZx-bU&NR=1

i just hope, people all over the globe are able to firmly accept that Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) is the last messenger of Allah.
the reason is the other wise special attribution to this child resulting in one form of 'Shrik"

May Allah forgive me for any unintentional fault... Aameen

Shouldn't this be talked about more in the news...?
SubhanAllah!
I find this amazing- Muslims should unite more,  not just in Russia-
Most of the problems we're facing today is because we don't
stick together.
Welcome to QS sister!
