Eid holiday for government offices.
H.E the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Nasser bin Mohamed bin Abdul Aziz Al-Thani issued today circular No. 20 of 2009 on the Eid Al-Fitr holidays.
The circular stipulates that the Eid holidays figure as follows:
First: For Ministries and other government organs, public authorities and corporations: Eid holidays will begin on Thursday 27 Ramadan 1430 AH, corresponding to 17. 9. 2009. Employees are to resume work on Sunday 27.9.2009.
Second: For Qatar Central Bank (QCB), banks and institutions falling under QCB's supervision, Qatar Financial Markets Authority, Qatar Securities Company: Three days. The start date is to be fixed by QCB Governor.
