Curious visitors, both Muslims and non-Muslims, will get an opportunity to see a replica of the Ka’aba during an exhibition in Doha from November 19-23, a spokesman for Fanar, the organisers of the expo, said.
The event will present a panoramic view of all aspects of Islam, Abdussalam al-Basuni of the Qatar Islamic Cultural Centre (Fanar) told Gulf Times.

He said the expo would feature Makkah, the Ka’aba, all Prophets, holy books, Islamic arts and cultural activities at eight wings aimed at “answering all questions of the visitors” about Islam.

Addressing reporters, Fanar director Mohamed al-Ghamidi said that the expo would include images of the historic town of Makkah.
He said that the expo would take a unique step “by showing the Ka’aba from the inside”, as many people thought that it was just a stone worshipped by Muslims.

“Many think the Ka’aba houses graves, treasures or swords and shields, so the model will showcase  details of the outside and inside, to prove that it is just an empty mosque,” he said.

“The replica will have touch screens that will provide information about the history of the Ka’aba and the Prophets who had made pilgrimage to it, as well as some charts and maps.”

indeed, its required as I heard there is a misconception among some non-muslims that Muslims worship a stone in the ka'aba

This year they will not celebrate eid just because of this expo
now we have only two Eid's to celebrate even this chance is gone
