Second tech workshop for women in mid-April

DOHA: The Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology (ictQatar) will host the second workshop for women in technology in mid April to establish a mission and blueprint for the Center for Women in Technology of the Arab World.

The workshop will be held under the theme, ‘Advancing Arab Women in Technology: Strategy Made Reality,’ on April 15 and April 16. This two-day event will serve as a continuum to the inaugural workshop that facilitated the establishment of the Center for Women in Technology of the Arab Region, in November 2008. The workshop is aimed at providing sustainable activities that support women’s full engagement in the knowledge society, including in education, workforce development, and entrepreneurship.
